In your show system

Two playback systems — One output path

Prepare system A as MAIN and system B as BACKUP. EARS follows the health trigger and selects the configured backup if the main trigger fails; route its result to the required Dante or MADI outputs.

Detect the right kind of failure

BLDS is designed to detect missing or corrupted playback, including repeated buffers. Pilot-tone mode monitors the selected tone. Choose and test the trigger for your playback workflow.

Two kinds of redundancy

EARS changes between playback sources. Dante primary/secondary connections protect network transport. They complement each other; network redundancy alone is not an A/B playback switch.
